Deformation of development maps (animation)
The movie shows convergence of flat affine tori. A sequence of quotients of the punctured plane collapses to a quotient of the half plane. The corresponding change of the development of the fundamental domain illustrates the Ehresmann-Thurston-Weil theorem.
