Stencil application code: C (dynamic), C (static), CL
Note: Note that benchmark results depend on the type of machine and compiler used. For the 1000x1000 case considered in the article, the differences between static and dynamic code are smaller on more recent architectures/compilers (cache misses are dominating now). For the smaller 25x25 case (treated by default in the programs above), the performance gain of static code should be more pronounced.
