Institute of Algebra and Geometry
The Institute of Algebra and Geometry is represented by several research groups in algebra, geometry, topology, discrete mathematics, and mathematics education. Each of these research groups runs weekly research seminars. In addition to our research activities, we offer a PhD programme as well as courses in the above disciplines at a bachelor and master level. Furthermore, we provide general mathematics courses for the Mathematics Education Program for future school teachers, and for other departments of the KIT including the departments of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.
