Research Group Metric Geometry
Research
Our research topics are located in the areas of Riemannian geometry and geometric group theory. Currently we work on the following subjects: Symmetric spaces, Lie groups, discrete groups and group actions on manifolds and metric spaces.
Together with the differential geometry group, the topology group and the number theory and algebraic geometry group we form the research unit Geometry, Groups and Topology (GGT). Its main event is the GGT-seminar.
