Seminar Homological Algebra (Winter Semester 2008/09)

Homological algebra has applications to many fields such as algebraic geometry, number theory, algebraic topology, group theory and complex analysis. An important tool are so called "homology groups" that can be defined in all of these different contexts. In this seminar, we give an introduction to the topic, with a strong focus on algebraic topology. A more detailed description of the topics, as well as further information can be found in this announcement (in german).
