Jede Woche wird ein Vortrag gehalten der folgender Art:

• Vorstellung eines offenen Problems dass der/die Vortragende momentan bearbeitet
• Präsentation des geplanten Vorhabens für eine Bachelor-, Master-, Diplom- oder Doktorarbeit
• Präsentation der Resultate einer Bachelor-, Master-, Diplom- oder Doktorarbeit
• Vorstellung eines Forschungsartikels welcher für die Arbeitsgruppe von Interesse sein könnte

Das Seminar findet im Seminarraum 2.058 im Kollegiengebäude Mathematik 20.30 statt.

How To Share Trees Optimally

In the graph sharing game T two players, Alice and Bob, play on a connected graph with non-negative weights on the vertices. Starting with Alice, they alternate in claiming vertices so that at all times the taken part remains connected. Both players try to gather as much weight as possible.
In this talk we discuss an optimal strategy for the special case that the graph is a tree.
