Webrelaunch 2020

AG Nichtlineare Partielle Differentialgleichungen (Winter Semester 2020/21)

Our seminar takes place every Friday at 14:00 in the seminar room 2.066, building 20.30.
All talks this year will take place via Zoom, and the Zoom link of each talk can be found in the corresponding Abstract.pdf file.
For further informations please contact Fatima Goffi.

In general each talk will take 60 minutes, including a ten-minute question session.
Nevertheless, we would like to organise our working group seminar with flexibility, when the speakers are members in our own institute, in the sense that

  • The maximal duration of each talk is 90 minutes, including the question and discussion session. Nevertheless it depends totally on the speaker, whether he/she would like to consume the whole 90 minutes or not.
  • The topic of each talk can be chosen freely by the speaker. It might be based on one chapter of the speaker's favourite book, the proof of the speaker's favourite theorem, the speaker's favourite article, the speaker's own result, and so on - it should be fun if the speaker speaks about one of our colleagues' result, or even the two speakers speak about each other's results!

We highly recommend the PhD students to contribute, and we wish to facilitate the communications among the working group. We also quite welcome the talks by the colleagues from other working groups of our Institute of Analysis, and please, write an email to Fatima Goffi fatima.goffi(at)kit.edu, indicating the title/abstract of your talk as well as your preferred date, if you would like to give a 'flexible' talk!
