Welcome to my homepage!
I joined the Department of Mathematics of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in April 2018 as a postdoctoral researcher. I am a member of the CRC 1173 – Wave Phenomena. Before coming to KIT I was at the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB) as a Ph.D. student.

My PhD project involved the asymptotic analysis of harmonic Maxwell's equations defined in domains containing contrasted thin layers. I gave approximate boundary conditions of the effect of the thin layers of type Impedance Condition, which are defined on the boundary of the infinite propagation domain. This type of study is mainly useful for solving numerically transmission problems.
In my current project, I focus on the homogenization of metamaterials using nonlocal constitutive relations. The written mathematical models describe the behavior of the electromagnetic field in domains comprising slab (or half space) metamaterials.
