Programming: Introduction to Computer Science with Java (Winter Semester 2006/07)

In this lecture the programming language Java is introduced. Java plays an important role in the design of web-based computer applications and has become a widely used industry standard. In the winter term's lecture basic concepts of Java are taught. The emphasis is put on the implementation of fundamental mathematical and computer-scientific algorithms. More advanced concepts will be discussed in the summer term.
