Mini course on "Blow up mechanism for nonlinear wave equations"

Abstract: The purpose of this series of lectures is to give an outline to some results about the blow-up mechanism for nonlinear wave equations scaling invariant, by concentrating the soliton.
We shall start by investigating two examples of solitons which are strikingly different: the first example is linked to Yamabe problem while the second one comes from Bernstein's problem. Then, we shall provide an overview of local wellposedness results for quasilinear wave equations. In the last part, we shall showcase the constructive approach of blow up solutions in the framework of an example of quasilinear wave equation.
