Geometric measure theory studies the geometry of sets and measures employing methods of measure and integration theory. One of the original motivations was the study of minimal surfaces.
Topics include measure and integral, covering theorems, Hausdorff measures, Lipschitz functions and rectifiability, area and coarea formula, currents, applications.
