Information for visitors

The faculty for mathematics has its home in a nice new building situated at Englerstraße 2, 76131 Karlsruhe.

Day of mathematics

The focus is on the team and individual competition. Parallel to the competitions, there are two mathematical lectures and information about the professional possibilities of mathematicians. This year the Day of Mathematics took place on the 18th March.

Conference Wave Phenomena 2025

In February of 2025 there will be our next Conference on Mathematics of Wave Phenomena. Register and visit us in Karlsruhe. We are looking forward to meet you in person.

Research

In addition to its four institutes, the department concentrates its research activities in the Collaborative Research Center 1173 - Wave Phenomena, the Research Training Group 2229 - Asymptotic Invariants and Limits of Groups and Spaces, as well as the KIT Center MathSEE - Mathematics in Sciences, Engineering, and Economics.
