Research Focus Geometry, Groups and Topology

This research focus covers a broad spectrum of topics in geometry, topology,  dynamics, graph theory and geometric group theory.   The interplay between algebra, geometry, topology, dynamics and combinatorics is the overarching theme of this research focus. For example, geometric objects are investigated with topological and algebraic tools; abstract groups are investigated using their actions on geometric and topological spaces, such as graphs and Riemannian manifolds.
